How To Clean A Couch

First vacuum your couch to remove any loose soil and hair. When you vacuum your couch you lessen the chance of spreading dirt and making mud.

If you have hardwood floors place your couch on a rug, or put painters tarp around it, so you do not drip water onto the hardwood. You can use towels also. Place them around your furniture slightly underneath them. You do not have to put them under the legs.

Then spray your furniture with an upholstery cleaner using a spritzer or heavy duty spray bottle using the correct soap to water ratio. It should slice through body oils, hair, food, pet dander, and more. Then over spray your furniture with water using an upholstery Cleaning Machine. Its a thin fabric so do not over wet to where water goes down into the cushion.

Water and soap softens soil and helps break it loose from the fiber. Give your furniture a light scrub with an upholstery brush breaking loose anything that's stuck to it. Then extract all the grime away using a high powered Upholstery Cleaning Machine.

To dry it fast you must put a fan on it to create good airflow. The most important thing is to extract all the moister away.
